You Can't Enjoy Life Without This!

You can’t Enjoy Life Without this!
And he said unto them, Take heed, and beware of covetousness: for a man's life does not consist in the abundance of the things which he possesses. (Luke 12:15)

Hi Friend:

Do you have contentment? If you don't, you'll always be waiting for the next event in your life to make you happy. Enjoy life now! While the kids are young, while you're unemployed, while you're still in school, while you’re going through the storm. Pause for a moment and notice God’s hand leading you through the tough times and especially through the good times. Don't ever lose sight of Him.

Remember, your life does not consist in the abundance of things you possess. So be sure you're not measuring your 'success' in life, based on the things you acquire, your degrees, your job title, your looks, or the ‘success’ of others.

Measure your success based on YOU fulfilling and following God's plan for your life. Check in with Him DAILY to stay on track. That is where grace and blessings awaits you.

Jesus said "Seek the Kingdom of God above all else, and live righteously, and he will give you everything you need." (Matt 6:33). Which things was He talking about? He spoke of houses, food, clothing and things you need in life. Jesus is not ignoring your needs and neither should you. However, He wants you to learn contentment so you can enjoy the journey!
He has the best system to get them (‘things’) to you. He wants you to know that it's His job to get them to you and it’s your job to listen to Him. (You plus God equals the unstoppable team)

He's fighting your battles. If He wants you to act, He'll let you know, so always be listening. Don't go out there doing your own thing. It’s your VICTORY, not your battle!

So be careful as you navigate through life and let God lead you to your place of peace.

God says, “Be careful to obey all my commands, so that all will go well (well in Hebrew-ya' tab--happy, successful, right) with you and your children after you, because you will be doing what is good and pleasing to the LORD your God.” (Deut. 12:28 NLT)

So this week, practice contentment and enjoy your life!
