Hi Friends!

Imagine. The Creator of the universe has chosen to spend today with you. He has chosen you, to sit, talk and listen with Him. I remember one morning as I sat for my morning devotions, I asked the Lord, "What's on your mind today"? I'm not sure what made me ask that question. But I felt as if I heard an inner voice clearly say, "YOU ARE". At that moment, I understood the verse I've written in my journal so many times, "I am honored and loved by God" (Isaiah 43:4).

YOU are honored and loved by God. I know you're used to "doing" but today God just wants you to focus on "being". Just being in His presence, enjoying His company, and soaking up His love- that's your task today.

Enjoy the day just being and being loved, as we begin this fasting journey. 

1. Read the affirmation provided for you today before each meal- that way you would have hopefully read it 3 times today. After 21 days, this will help you develop a habit of positive thinking throughout your day.
2. If you're using the fasting journal, carve out 10 minutes each morning to write using the provided prompts. It's great for reflection (especially at the end when we create our goals). If you did not get a journal, use any notebook- just as long as you journal. (get help here<<)
3. Enjoy the journey. You and God make a great team!
